4 Reasons Why Jesus is Your Best Friend

I have been friends with Jesus for a long time but I have also been friends with the world and I have been friends with the world longer than I have with Jesus; but I am not anymore. I'd rather live for Jesus than the things in this world.

I have been an enemy of my God and I am ashamed and trust me I have paid the price on this earth and am so thankful I didn't pay for it in hell. If you're a friend of the world you cannot be a friend of Jesus, but when you become a friend of Jesus you won't want to be friends with the world anymore because Jesus brings you such joy and peace of mind. He is literally your salvation.



1.) If You Have A Friend in Jesus

If you have a friend in Jesus, He loves you not just when you do good but He loves you at all times. He loves you when you confess all your secrets and sins to Him. He loves you when you share all your joy with Him. He loves you in both good and bad. He loves you unconditionally. He loved you before you even knew Him.

If you're a friend of Jesus you do what He commands you to do and He commands us that we love one another, just as He has loved us. He loved us so much that He died for us. Can you honestly say that you would die for me or for someone else because you loved me or that other person that much?

2.) If We Really Love Him...

It can be hard to do and tough to think about and even difficult to feel or imagine but if we are Jesus' friend then we love Him and if we love Him then we obey His commandments. We must love each other so hard that we would die for one another. Can you say that you have a friend that would do that for you?
If you don't, I'll be that friend. If you don't, you could also be that friend.

3.) Forgiveness

Another thing, He forgives us. Over and over again. And we should do exactly the same when it comes our friends or other people. Because of Christ and because we are in Christ (through salvation) we find redemption. He also rescues us, over and over again. I couldn't make it through this life if I didn't have Jesus in it.

4.) Eternity

Me and Jesus may have been friends for a long time but I want to talk about what is longer than a long time: Eternity. Eternity isn't a long time, it's forever. But when you make a friend in Jesus, that friendship is forever and it'll outlast every relationship you have.

Don't make Jesus just your friend, make Him your best friend.

Everyone has their reasons for voting who they vote for, I agree, but when there's someone who is pro-choice and not pro-life that's where a true Christian should draw the line. Abortion is murder but is not treated that way under our law today but would be if we still lived under the old law. Did you know that?
